Questions before you move in

Answers about the terms, length of stay, payment, documents and house rules.

How much does it cost to live here?

A place in a room for three or four people — from 800 zł a month. A place in a double room — from 950 zł, but we rent this room only as a whole: you pay for both places. A private single room — from 1500 zł a month. The price does not depend on the address or the district. Our manager will tell you the exact amount for the chosen option.

What is included in the price?

Utilities and internet are included in the price. So are the washing machines: using them costs nothing. The price also includes help from our manager and repairs by our technical team if something breaks through normal use. Separately, when you check in, you pay a refundable deposit — from 250 zł; our manager will tell you the exact amount. If you plan to stay for less than two months, we add a small extra charge — our manager will also tell you how much it is. More about the price

What is the minimum stay?

A place in a room for three or four people — at least four nights: from 250 zł for four days, the daily rate from 60 zł. A private room, single or double — at least a month. There is no maximum stay: you can live here for as long as your stay is paid.

How do I pay?

In cash, by card or with BLIK. Payment is always in advance for the chosen period — not necessarily a month. Please note: the payment for the stay is non-refundable, so it is better to agree on the period in advance.

Do I sign a contract? Which documents do I need?

There is no contract to sign — we give you a receipt for your payment. When you check in, our manager signs the house rules with you and explains all the rules. As for documents, a passport, an ID card, a driving licence or a residence card is enough.

Can I see the room before moving in?

Yes, and it doesn't commit you to anything. We arrange the viewing in advance — our manager will show you the room.

Can I reserve a place while I am still abroad?

Yes. A reservation means paying the deposit — you can pay it remotely, without a viewing on site. We reserve no earlier than 7 days before your arrival: we can't keep a place free for longer. The deposit is from 250 zł; our manager will tell you the exact amount.

At what time can I move in?

From 9:00 to 20:00, every day, weekends included. We don't check people in at night. Our manager meets you, hands over the keys and shows you the home.

How quickly do you reply?

Every day from 9:00 to 20:00, weekends included. We reply to messages within 5 minutes.

Which languages can I use?

Ukrainian, Russian, Polish or English.

Can I come as a couple or with children?

We accept couples and families. Families with children — from 7 years old. Men and women live in separate rooms.

Can I come with pets?

No, we don't accept pets.

Can I have guests?

No. You cannot have guests or let them stay overnight — the house rules say so.

What are the rules on quiet hours and smoking?

Everyone has their own keys and can come back at any time, at night too, but quiet hours are from 22:00 to 6:00. Smoking inside is not allowed; where the building has a courtyard, you can smoke in a designated place outside. These and other rules are collected in the house rules, which you sign when you check in. You can read them in advance in the documents section.

Who does the cleaning?

Residents clean their own rooms. The ROOMPLACE team cleans the shared areas — not at every address, so ask about the specific address.

Is there a washing machine and internet?

There are washing machines at every address, and using them is included in the price. There is internet everywhere too, included in the price; we fix any faults.

What should I do if something breaks?

Tell our manager. If the fault comes from normal use or wear, our technical team repairs or replaces it — at no extra cost.

Can I move to another address or move out earlier?

Moving to another address is possible if agreed in advance and in the presence of our manager. Let us know 7 days before you move out.

Is there CCTV?

At most addresses there is — usually in the corridors and kitchens. It isn't everywhere, so ask about the specific address.

Do you register residence (meldunek)?

We don't offer this service. Occasionally, as an exception, we issue a certificate of residence with the date until which the stay is paid.

Do you have studio flats?

Yes, we have a few studio flats, but they are a small part of what we offer. Ask our manager whether one is free.

What is already in the room?

A bed with a mattress, a duvet, a pillow, a set of bed linen, a curtain, furniture for your belongings and hangers. In the kitchen: a fridge, a hob without an oven, a microwave, a kettle, pots, pans, dishes and cutlery, a table and chairs. In the flat — a washing machine, a clothes dryer and cleaning equipment. You can move in right away. Luggage — up to two suitcases, more if agreed with our manager.

By what time do I have to leave the room?

By 10:00. If agreed in advance with the administration, you can stay until 13:00 on the day you leave. Let us know about moving out 7 days in advance.

I already live with you. Where do I report a fault?

Report a fault to technical support, and a request or a complaint to our managers. You will find the links to the forms under the QR code in the corridor and in the kitchen of your flat, and in the documents section. In your report, give your first name and surname, a contact number, the city, the address and the room number, the subject and a description; for an unusual event, add a photo or a video.

Not sure what to choose?

Tell us where you work or study and for how many people you are looking for a home. We will help you choose an address and check availability.
